What the new changes in Hearthstone mean to your Taven

With the release of Witchwood (which wood?), come some additional in-game features that can be beneficial to your Fireside Gathering.

  • Monster Hunt
    • Pretty much just like a Dungeon Run
      • Innkeeper (or patron) picks a random class
      • Timer is set
      • At the end of the timer, see who all is ahead in boss kills
      • Award top people a raffle ticket (no playoffs!)
  • Deck Borrowing
    • Allows players with less card to test out different decks
    • Allows players to test a net deck against their own creations
    • Allows your patrons to create specific decks to challenge one another
      • Pauper
      • Odds, Evens
      • Worst Deck Possible
        • Rewt will expand on this, as he just did this in his FSG.
        • Bytes mentioned not telling the folks what the deck build is going to be until the side event.
  • What are Innkeepers saying?
    • Andi – Orlando, Fla, USA:
      • Waiting to see how Monster Hunt works, but yes since we do competitive Dungeon Runs! For Witchwood, we created spooky theme decks you had to win with against other players. I still love the Werewolf idea for tournament side activity, too. Ben’s Battle for Gilneas game was also perfect!
    • LevradicaL Columbus, GA:
      • Today at my gathering I plan to introduce the adventure companion to my patrons to see where it goes. At my next gathering, I want to incorporate the monster hunt in the adventure companion.
    • Good luck and have fun to all Innkeepers trying something new at their Fireside Gatherings with the witchwood expansion. We hope to hear all about your adventures in the Discord server!
